Pen Pic

Joe Ledley is one of the jewels in the Cardiff City crown. A cultured left-footer, he has risen through the ranks and emerged as an excellent member of the first team. He played every minute of the 2006-07 season and became an integral member of the Welsh National set-up.

His favoured position is left midfield, though he can operate in a more central role as well as covering the left-back position when necessary.

Ledley has attracted interest from many quarters although Cardiff City have so far managed to ward off serious interest from Everton and Blackburn while the player himself rejected a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2008.
