Vital Report - QPR 2-2 Cardiff
Cardiff's Championship season continued with a draw at Loftus Road against QPR on Saturday.
If nothing else this opening week have shown us that Cardiff are going to keep battling as, like was the case for the Bluebirds in the season opener with Fulham, it took a later goal to earn another point as Cardiff, including the injury-time equaliser from Malone twice came from two-down to draw two-two.

Hill had given QPR the lead with a highly controversial Austin effort adding the second before Morrison got one back to make it two-one with the R's punished for not taking chances with that late equaliser.
With Marshall still suspended, but a move to West Brom still more than possible, Moore continued in the Cardiff goal and he played well, but it was the Bluebirds that started well with a dangerous cross into the box missed by Pilkington, who just needed to get a touch.
A needlessly conceded corner from Peltier who was poor in an attempted back pass to Moore put Cardiff under pressure and QPR made the most of it as Hill (33) headed home Phillips' delivery to put QPR ahead.
A great Chery delivery just needed a touch from Austin, but similarly to Pilkington he couldn't get it with Connolly slicing another dangerous delivery from Phillips wide of his own goal with the Bluebird defender escaping an own goal against his former side.
Cardiff escaped falling further behind with Moore pulling off a fine save to keep out a deflected Phillips effort for a corner. However from this corner, again delivered by Phillips, it was Hill that got his head, well more to the point his arm too it before Austin (56) did likewise but the goal stood and QPR were two-nil up.
The third set piece goal of the afternoon saw Cardiff back in the game through captain Morrison (63) just past the hour .
Connolly was in the right place, and didn't slice the clearance, to clear and Austin effort off the line and onto the post to safety with Green in the QPR goal perhaps fortunate not to go off with it appearing the England international 'keeper handled outside of the area?
Moore kept out another Phillips effort when he was in on goal but when he was beaten, as Emmanuel-Thomas got through the Cardiff defeat he dragged his effort wide that would have killed off the Bluebirds.

That miss, and others, was punished with Malone (90) striking into the top corner from 20-yards to earn an away point for Slade's side.
Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most in this two-two draw at QPR?
