Cardiff Youngsters Feature For Wales

Cardiff City were again well represented at Wales U21s level with two players on the fringe of the City first team starting the game as Wales thrashed Malta 4-0 to continue their impressive form.

Aaron Ramsey and Darcy Blake are both experienced at this level and have typified the resurgence of Welsh U21 football under Brian Flynn. Another highly rated youngster Jon Brown , a winger/striker came off the bench also.

Wales U21s now have a great chance to qualify for the U21 championships held in Sweden 2009. Qualification is seen as an absolute must by Toshack and co.

There was a warning shot to Cardiff City when reumoured target Ched Evans got two of the Welsh goals before facing Cardiff City this weekend with his current loan side Norwich City.
