Everton Bid For Ledley Rejected

Everton manager David Moyes saw a late bid for Cardiff City star Joe Ledley turned down by the Bluebirds yesterday.

Interest in Ledley had coolled after Cardiff warned off potential suitors, however, Moyes felt that a last ditch attempt could pay off and has doubtless noticed Ledley's recent performances which have been outstanding.

Whilst he was prepared to offer more than the 2.5m offered by Wolves previously, City wisely declined and now keep a full squad ready for an assault on the play-offs.
