Cardiff City have several injury doubts ahead of tonight's clash with resurgent QPR.
The biggest concern is Roger Johnson, who fell awkwardly on his ankle against Hereford. No damage was found, but RJ was experiencing discomfort and will face a late fitness test - Darren Purse is on stand-by to replace him.
Kevin McNaughton is suffering a dead leg but should be fit to start, Darcy Blake is the likely replacement. Stephen McPhail is also struggling with a hip complaint picked up against Hereford, if he fails a fitness test, Joe Ledley would switch inside with Whittingham on the left, Parry on the right and Hasselbaink and Thompson forming a powerful striking partnership. Aaron Ramsey would be a like-for-like replacement for McPhail, but Jones is unlikely to gamble on the youngster just yet.
Trevor Inclair could be a suprise inclusion on the bench while Riccy Scimeca is also nearing a comeback. Robbie Fowler is a long term injury absentee for City.
Former Cardiff City full-back Chris Barker could return for QPR after a hernia operation while Gavin Mahon (illness), Adam Bolder and Damion Stewart are also available.
Di Canio has a virtually full strength squad to select from, including plenty of bright new faces. The R's will be confident and Cardiff must be on top form and show no signs ao fatigue after a hectic recent schedule.
