Cardiff To Face Wolves In FA Cup

Cardiff City reached the final 16 of the FA Cup for the first time in 14 years and have been rewarded with a home tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Cardiff beat non league Chasetown 3-1 in the third round before goals from Kevin McNaughton and a Steve Thompson penalty yesterday saw off a spirited Hereford United challenge.

After being drawn last in the fourth round, Cardiff were allocated ball number 16 in the draw for the fifth round.

The draw is not great for Cardiff, but offers a realistic chance to progress with home advantage against a team in the same division.

Manchester United host Arsenal in the top tie of the round, all games to be played the 15th/16th February.
