Cardiff Star Signs Professional Deal

Cardiff City's talented youngster Aaron Ramsey has signed his first proffessional contract after agreeing terms with the club.

Ramsey has been toutes as one for the future, having shown tremendous potential at youth level and for Wales. He has attracted interest from Arsenal after performing superbly in a FA Youth Cup game against The Gunners.

He became the youngest player to feature for the Bluebirds last season, but has yet to force his way into the first team properly. The 17 year old does feature regularly on the Cardiff bench and has not looked out of place whenever used as a substitute.

It's good that the club hasn't 'cashed in' yet on o of our future stars. Ramsey has a great deal of talent and could become an excellent player for the club if handled correctly.

The player himself told BBS Sport:

'If I keep my feet on the ground, 2008 could be a big year for me.'
