Cardiff's Thommo: Team Of Week

Cardiff's Thommo: Team Of Week

As published last week, Cardiff City striker Steve Thompson was one of the biggest movers in the Actim Index last week (see here.

The big Scotsman followed that up with a goal and another effective performance in Cardiff's 4-1 victory over Colchester United and resulted in Thompson being named in the Championship Team Of The Week.

Still transfer listed, Thommo is looking effective as ever, and is in the starting line-up on merit. Thats 2 goals in three games now, and three for the season - Thommo has mostly been a fringe player but has grabbed his opportunity well and linked well in attack.

The full Championship Team Of The Week as voted for by the Press Association:

Romain Larrieu - Plymouth Argyle.

Jack Cork - Scunthorpe United.
Sam Sodje - Charlton Athletic.
Leon Barnett - West Brom.
Jon Harley - Burnley.

Akos Buzsaky - QPR.
Lee Johnson - Bristol City.
Claus Bech Jorgensen - Blackpool.
Kevan Hurst - Scunthorpe Utd.

Steve Thompson - Cardiff City.
Stern John - Southampton.
