Cardiff Fans Want Capaldi Out

Cardiff City brought in teenager Chris Gunter when regular right-back Kevin McNaughton took a knock to his ankle in training. McNaughton is now recovered but should he come back in or remain on the bench?

Chris Gunter's excellent form for club and country means a more difficult decision for Dave Jones. Gunter is energetic and loves to bomb forward to help his winger. This gives us more attacking bite and the youngster is rarely out of position defensively.

A recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City website asked:

Which Full-Back To Drop ?

Chris Gunter 11%
Kevin McNaughton 12%
Tony Capaldi 72%
Undecided 5%

Dave Jones decided to persist with Tony Capaldi on Saturday, but the left-back was sucked in unnecessarily leaving acres of space for the cross for Hull's opener.

Will this have swayed Jones' mind? Capaldi has started every league game, but made way on Saturday and is seen by many as a weak link. There is no doubting who the fans want to see, thats Gunter at RB with McNaughton on the left - a position he has always looked comfortable in.
