Administration Threat Over Cardiff

The spectre of administration is looming more ominously over Cardiff City FC this week with the impending court case against Langston just around the corner.

With legal fees crippling the clubs short term finances, it is hugely important to get the court case over and done with - but the potential consequences are quite frightening.

Langston insist that if they win, administration is not an option - but they would almost certainly sell many of the assets, the players, to recoup their investment.

However, Ridsdale has re-assured us that the case is extremely strong (cast-iron in fact), and the debts HAVE been restructured and are NOT due now. That said, the chairman has now confirmed that an emergency meeting of the board will be held before the court case - this meeting was not scheduled.

Blame has flown around the club recently, with the board and former owner Sam Hammam in the firing line. The speculation is not really helpful, but it is the supporters who are most worried, and us who hold the least facts - for now at least.

But it's true. Admin of the pitch, flops on it! Wages that you can't afford for Hasselbank and Fowler. Dear oh dear, indeed!
