Cardiff To Face Port Vale/Chasetown

Cardiff City have been drawn away against Port Vale or Chasetown in the third round of the F.A. Cup drawn live on BBC1 today.

The two clubs are currently playing their 2nd round tie, with the score locked at 1-1.

Cardiff have gone out in the third round the previous two seasons to Premiership opposition in the forms of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

This draw gives us an excellent opportunity to progress in the cup, facing lower league, possibly non-league opposition with the game being played on either the 5th or 6th January.

Some other key ties from the draw include:

Luton/Notts Forest v Liverpool
Aston Villa v Manchester United
Tottenham v Reading
Burnley v Arsenal
Horsham/Swansea v Havant & Waterlooville
Sunderland v Wigan
West Ham v Manchester City

NotW? Don't make me laugh, the only surprise is the story came 2 months after all the others - probably took them that long to string the sentences together.
