Vital Cardiff City managed to track down a Hull City fan ahead of the crunch match. We headed over to Vital Hull to speak to captainmiffymoo for his views:
Were you happy with your departures / signings ?
When we signed Hughes, Garcia & Brown there were mixed reactions with a few concerned voices saying that we needed a bigger name signing, but that could stem form the farce we had when every target that was mentioned in the summer ended up going to another club, this lead to people questioning chairman Paul Duffen's alleged financial position. Having said that the new boys have settled in well and have made a big difference to the club, so quite a few people are eating humble pie at the moment. Jay Jay Okocha has been a good bums on seats signing although the question if we need a flair player in the Championship is still open to debate, but he can do amazing things with a football and he does give the opposition defenders something extra to think about.
An solid start, satisfied so far?
Extremely satisfied with our start, its nice to think that going into the christmas programme we could be looked upon as serious play off contenders.
Aspirations for this season?
At the start of the season most fans wanted a finishing position somewhere mid table16th or better, so as in the answer above, what we have done so far is a bonus.
HCFC player to watch, how will they hurt us?
Obviously Jay Jay if he starts, although he has been coming on as an impact player in the last few games, Dean Marney will run & run at the Cardiff defence and obviously Dean Windass is a predator in front of goal.
If you could have one Cardiff player on a free, who and why?
Paul Parry because we need a decent left sided midfielder still.
Prediction for the game?
Sorry guys but a 2-0 win for the mighty Tigers.
Thanks again to captainmiffymoo for his views.
