Capaldi, McNaughton or Gunter ?

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has a tricky decision to make at the weekend ahead of the game against Hull City.

He has 3 full-backs fit and vying for the 2 defensive berths:

1) Kevin McNaughton.

He can play either side, but has missed the last two fixtures with an ankle knock. A consistent performer with good pace and excellent reading of the game - he has been in the first XI since his arrival but did not play in the last two game where we did not conceed.

2) Chris Gunter.

Young, but extremely talented. His determination, energy and ability shines through and we have an exciting talent on our hands. Has only just returned to action after being rested to recover his confidence. Was that needed? Unlikely! Has played 4 games in a week now but will be raring to go if selected.

3) Tony Capaldi.

Initial descriptions as 'steady' have become 'average' and Capaldi has not shone yet. However, he is consistent and quietly efficient and has started every game this season for City. Played his part in recent clean sheets and long throw is a bonus.

I fully expect Tony Capaldi to be the fall-guy for many of the fans, but will Dave Jones want to change a back four that has kept Ipswich Town and Leicester City nullified ?
