Cardiff City travel to The Walker's Stadium tonight to face Leicester City. The midlands club have not enjoyed the best of starts to the season, culminating in Martin Allen losing his job, to be replaced by former Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Holloway.
Holloway has had one game in charge thus far, a 2-0 victory over Bristol City in a game the Fowes dominated. The new boss has inherited a strong squad with new signings like Stephen Clemence, Bruno N'Gotty and DJ Campbell adding quality right through the team.
Add to that players like Stearman, McAuley and Matty Fryatt already at the club and The Foxes look a decent bet for a play-off place, however a poor start saw them down alongside Cardiff City and they will need the new boss to injecy some new fire into them.
Form means little with a new manager at the helm, but the performance against Bristol City was impressive and Leicester, their manager and fans will be pumped up for the first home game of their new era.
Cardiff City travel in poor form, but boosted by a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town at the weekend. In some ways, Cardiff are in a similar position with Dave Jones given a stay of execution, results must improve right away and the team made a good start by beating Ipswich.
We have found it impossible to create any momentum this season, and we must pick up a point or more tonight. Confidence has been given a lift and as a passing side, confidence is key.
Its a tricky game to call, we look more comfortable away from home while Leicester will be fired up and striving to impress the new manager. Both teams need a result, and both teams have more quality than their respective league tables suggest.
Vital Cardiff is predicting a 2-2 draw.
