Vital Cardiff spoke to ardent Ipswich Town fan Mark Burley about the forthcoming match between The Bluebirds and The Tractor Boys:
Were you happy with your departures / signings ?
We kept all our important players and addressed each problem in turn i.e. new keeper, Miller from Sunderland and good to Pable back to fire the goals.
An impressive start, satisfied so far?
Position wise - fantastic! Inconsistency is a problem, we take a fair few hammerings on the road but I think we have to be happy at the moment.
Aspirations for this season?
Play-offs look realistic ambition-wise. It's still early days and we're still not ready for a promotion charge but Magilton's doing really well with what we have got.
Neil Alexander left us in the summer, how's he been doing?
Looks a steady Championship keeper, nothing to spectacular. A couple of fumbles but some decent saves too. Happy with him at the moment and penalty saving king!
Ipswich player to watch, how will they hurt us?
I think Garvan is a key player for us, he pulls the strings in midfield but Alan Lee is the man, we got him from you and didn't expect anything much but he just keeps scoring!
If you could have one Cardiff player on a free, who and why?
Well your big names don't appear to be doing very well ! Jason De Vos can't go on forever so I'd quite like Darren Purse.
Prediction for the game?
Well it's an away game so obviously we'll lose! Seriously I think we will be really confident and determined to end the away record so I'm going for a 3-1 with to Ipswich Town (sorry!).
