The mysterious company involved in legal wranglings with Cardiff City football club intend to take over the club should they win the upcoming court case.
The people behind the company are unknown, and refuse to speak to the club. The only know representatives are law firm Hexstalls, and former club chairman Sam Hammam. The lebanese former owner knows the identities of the loan note owners, and has been appointed as a 'go-between' although nothing has come from this.
If CCFC were to lose the case, they would immediately be liable for £24m, this is not possible and Ridsdale stated, that while entirely confident of winning, the club would be forced into administration by a defeat.
Langston has now made public its hope to take over the club, bringing Hammam into more prominence, and would not force the club into administration. The move is most likely aimed at building fan pressurre against the existing board.
A statement read:
'Hextalls is instructed to state that administration is not an option being considered by them. The success of the Club on and off the pitch and the completion of the Stadium is in the interests of everybody.'
'All that Langston wants is to be paid what is due to it. As Langston has previously stated it has lost confidence in the board of directors who should relinquish control of the Club to Langston.'
'All that Langston wants id to be paid what is due to it.'
Maintaining its actions are in the best interests of the club is all well and good, but surely face-to-face meetings with Langston and CCFC representatives could prove more useful than press debate, and save thousands on legal fees.
