Charlton vs Cardiff (Team News)

Cardiff City may have some enforced changes to their line-up for the clash with Charlton Athletic and it may also be time for some non-enforced changes after the recent poor run.

Paul Parry and Trevor Sinclair (knee) will both face late fitness tests and Jones will be hoping that one of his two right wingers at least is fit to play.

Robbie Fowler may need surgery on a hip complaint but should be fit for the game, while he has also recovered from a training ground collision with on loan Manchester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel which left Fowler needing stitches.

MacLean, Thompson, Gunter, Loovens and Whittingham are all hoping to take advantage should Dave Jones decide to mix things up and wield his axe on the underperformers - don't hold your breath!!

Jose Semedo returns for Charlton Athletic after a 1 match suspension, he will take Therry Racon's place in midfield.

Chris Iwelumo, injury time winner in consecutive games, is expected to play but may need strapping on a wrist injury. Svetoslav Todorov, the dangerous striker is out for the season as his injury misfortune continues.
