Cardiff & Palace Draw - Boss Comment

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was frustrated after seeing his Bluebirds squander another lead. He chose to highlight missed chances, a dubious penalty and poor refereeing performance - but he's fast running out of excuses:

'Once we had scored we took control and with a bit more quality we could have gone on to win.'

'Palace came with a game plan, stuck to it and have gone away with a point.'

'We started well but after they scored the pressure mounted on us and we missed a couple of late chances.'

'I don't think it was the best performance by a referee that I have seen as some of his decisions were strange.'

Crystal Palace's new manager Neil Warnock was not happy with the point, strange considering his side always looked happy with the point!

'I am never happy with a point particularly tonight because I tried to win the game but we are improving all the time.'

'We were positive, particularly in the second half, because I would have been happy going in at half-time a goal down.'
