Liverpool vs Cardiff (Team Details)

Michael Oakes is recalled for Cardiff while McNaughton and Parry both recover from knocks to start. Trevor Sinclair does not make the squad due to an injury so Chris Gunter makes the bench along with young keeper Josh Magennis.

Oakes, McNaughton, Purse, Johnson, Capaldi, Ledley, Rae, McPhail, Parry, Fowler, Hasselbaink.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has, as expected, gone for a mixture of youth and experience and whilst some fringe players are included, youngster Jack Hobbs included, there are some big names in the LFC line-up:

Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch all start for the Reds - the cruz of a formidable England National side. The quality at their disposal is highlighted by the bench with Riise, Mascherano and Harry Kewell all offering high quality options.

Itandje, Arbeloa, Hobbs, Carragher, Aurelio, El Zhar, Lucas, Gerrard, Leto, Crouch, Babel.
