Cardiff Vs Scunthorpe (Team News)

Cardiff City again pick from a near full strength squad for Saturday's visit of Scunthorpe United.

Darren Purse and Glenn Loovens failed to stop the defensive rot, but will get another chance, while Trevor Sinclair could be recalled in place of Tony Capaldi or Stephen McPhail.

Fowler and Hasselbaink both scored on Wednesday and are expected to retain their places.

Riccy Scimeca is still out but on-loan Goalkeeper Kasper Schmichael could make his debut between the post ahead of Michael Oakes.

Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins also has a full squad to select from, with Ben May, Forte and Marcus Williams all returning to contention after midweek substitute appearances.

Former Swansea City defender Izzy Iriekpen is expected to feature on the bench and is sure of a warm Ninian Park reception

A crucial game for Cardiff City, who will feel the pressure and the angst of the fans is they do not start well. The first goal is critical and Scunthorpe has performed well on the road. Could be an interesting one.....
