Cardiff vs Wolves (Team News)

Cardiff City continue to pick from a near full-strength squad with only midfielder Riccy Scimeca definately out with a groin injury while teenage starlet Aaron Ramsey is unlikely to feature and will rest a tight hamstring.

Steve Thompson missed the Southampton match after twisting his ankle whilst training so is alos likely not to be risked and Steve MacLean will continue on the bench.

However, Dave Jones could be set to wield the axe on his underachievers with Darren Purse ready to replace Johnson or Loovens to shore up a leaky defence. Trevor Sinclair may also come in on the right flank with any of the midfield four able to give way. Many feel McPhail should be the fall-guy but Jones is more likely to axe Paul Parry in favour of the former Leeds Utd and Barnsley man.

Stephen Ward has recovered from tendonitis and is available to Wolves manager Mick McCarthy.

Former Cardiff target Stephen Elliott and ex-Blackburn midfielder Michael Gray will both be missing with groin injuries so on-loan Manchester United player Darron Gibson will continue along with Karl Henry and Seyi Olofinjaya in an attacking minded Wolves midfield.

Watch out for dangerman Michael Kightly too, the tricky winger has put in some excellent performances and will be a threat.
