'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cardiff Beat Burnley (Boss Comment)

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was relieved and content after ending the home jinx, he told BBC Sport:

'It was a tough battle and we stood up well to the aerial battering.'

'It's always nervous when there's only a goal in it, but we looked composed and our goals were quality - we have the players capable of doing that out of nothing, even when they're under pressure.'

'We've played better than that and lost, but it's a credit to us that we've kept believing in the way we play and what we're trying to do.'

Burnley manager Steve Cotterill was disappointed to leave with nothing after a competitive an combative performance:

'We knew it would be tough coming to Cardiff and it is very disappointing to go away with nothing after getting an equaliser.'
