Cardiff Fan's Boost for Sinclair

A recent poll on this VitalCardiff website invited your views on which new signing has impressed you the most....

Best new signing so far?

Trevor Sinclair 41%
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink 12%
Robbie Fowler 31%
Tony Capaldi 1%
Gavin Rae 8%
Too early to say 7%

It seemed wuite predictable that the vote would come down to our three big-name experienced players. All with national experience and many years of Premiership football behind them, Fowler, Hasselbaink and Sinclair have all added to the squad and made themselves first choice starters.

Trevor Sinclair polled the highest vote, he has looked assured and impressive, energetic and industrious on the right. Whilst his pace has left him somewhat, he makes himself time on the ball and is rarely wasteful with his passes.

Fowler was the nearest contender with 31%. He has impressed as he gained in fitness and has been finding the net on a regular basis - as well as looking sharp.

Hasselbaink scored a disappointing 12%, he has had a mixed start with some cracking finishes and lovely touches. However, he seems frustrated by the form and looked somewhat disinterested in the last 2 games.

7% declined to comment, feeling there is pllenty of time in which to form a judgement.
