Darren Purse On How To Fly High!

Cardiff City skipper Darren Purse outlines what the Bluebirds have to do if they want to start flying high in the Championship.

'Our 4-2 win over West Brom at the Hawthorns was another example of the sort of good form we have been showing. Now, if we can just do that at home we'll be cooking.

'In reality there isn't anything much wrong with the way we are playing at home, it's just that teams come here and shut up shop. If they get the first goal, that is it, there are ten men behind the ball.

'I feel bad for Peter Ridsdale who has come in for a bit of stick from a minority of fans. I'm sure it's just because they are a bit frustrated with some of our home results. Come Christmas when we are up at the top of the league with a string of home wins behind I think it will be different.

'Of course there is a gulf between the board and the players because their job is to sort the club out as a business and ours is to get things right on the pitch.'
