Cardiff Boss Appeals To Hammam

Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale has appealed to Sam Hammam to come forward and help the club by serving as a mediary between CCFC and the Langston Corportation - who recently started legal proceedings over alleged non-repayment of debt.

Speaking on BBC Radio Wales, Ridsdale said:

'He can help us solve the problem because he can sit down and talk to us and tell us who Langston are.'

'We do know he is in contact with a number of people and he does appear to be extremely well informed about the current situation about the legal case. You can draw your own conclusions from that.'

The plea comes after a week which saw Ridsdale offer his resignation over purported fans messages abusing Ridsdale and demanding the return of Sam Hammam - actions possibly engineered by Hammam himself.

Hammam is still casting a shadow over the club and his presence can still be felt. He got us here, but at great cost and we are far better off now with Ridsdale at the helm.
