Cardiff's Fowler In 'Team Of Week'

Cardiff City's veteran striker Robbie Fowler was named in this weeks Coca-Cola Championship Team Of The Week.

Fowler scored a typical brace in Saturdays 2-2 draw with Preston NE. Both were headed goals, but Fowler's potional awareness and anticipation were brilliant seeing him open his Cardiff City account in style.

Strangely Preston's Callum Davidson, who scored two magnificent goals to cap a fine individual performance, was not selected in the team.

The Team in full:

Nicky Weaver (Charlton), Kevin Foley (Wolverhampton), Michael Johnson (Sheffield Wednesday), Clarke Carlisle (Burnley), Tommy Spurr (Sheffield Wednesday), Mark Yeates (Colchester), Jose Vitor Semedo (Charlton), Seyi George Olofinjana (Wolverhampton), Robbie Fowler (Cardiff), Pablo Couñago (Ipswich).
