Plymouth Ace-'Respect For Bluebirds'

PLymouth Argyle's rising star Sylvain Ebanks-Blake has spoken of his relish at facing Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink this weekend when the Bluebirds travel to see the pilgrims.

Ebanks-Blake is looking forward to facing Cardiff's veteran duo, but insists the Plymouth team have nothing to fear. He told the Plymouth Herald:

'There is a lot of respect there, obviously, for what they (Fowler and Hasselbaink) have done, but they won't be getting any favours from us at all, so hopefully, we will come away with the right result.'

'It will be good to be on the same pitch and to see them in action, but the most important thing for us is not to be starstruck or anything like that, but to go out and get the result.'

Sylvain Ebanks-Blake is a young forward showing excellent promise. He has started the season in blistering form and has two league goals already to his name as well as one in the Carling Cup.

He started the season as a substitute but has shown good form and an eye for goal as well as being highly rated at Home Park. He will be hoping to keep his shirt for the Cardiff game and enhance his reputation in front of the Sky cameras.
