QPR vs Cardiff (manager comment)

Cardiff manager Dave Jones was pleased with his side after they won at QPR, he told BBC Sport:

'Any win is satisfying and we played pretty well.'

'The two up front did well and Paul Parry gave them problems and something to think about.'

'We've worked hard this week after the defeat last weekend. We are in the first throws of the start of a very long campaign. Everyone stood up to be counted and we never gave up.'

QPR manager John Gregory chose to laud the Cardiff side rather than criticise his own, pretty woeful, players:

'We were second to the ball over the pitch.'

'Cardiff have a wealth of experience and I have to say they were on the front foot throughout and played very well.

'Cardiff chased lost balls, harassed our players and worked harder than us. We looked timid and well below par.'

its really good to see parry playing well again. especally up front..... he is speedy and can confuse defences. i think if he is upfront with jimmy or robbie then parry can deliever the balls to them and let them finish and parry can also finish
