QPR Vs Cardiff City (team news)

QPR have two strikers back to fitness and ready for action in Dexter Blackstock (impressive against us last year) and Danny Nardiello. Nygaard or Moore could make way.


Former Cardiff loanee Simon Walton has a broken leg and could miss most of the season while former defender Chris Barker is yet to make his Rangers debut and will serve the final game of a 3 match ban picked up last season.



Cardiff City have Siccardo Scimeca out with a groin problem, but the experienced midfielder is expected to return to full training next week. Transfer listed Steve Thompson is also still injured.


The game comes too soon for either Robbie Fowler or Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, both of whom are short of match fitness and not ready for first team action yet.


Steve MacLean and Warren Feeney are expected to renew their misfiring partnership up-front although Jason Byrne or Matt Green could come in as the Bluebirds struggle for goals.
