Cardiff City To Face Orient In Cup

Cardiff City have been handed another home draw in the second round of the Carling Cup. They will host Coca-Cola League 1 side Leyton Orient.


The Bluebirds needed an extra time winner from defender Roger Johnson to see of Brighton and Hove Albion in round 1, despite putting out a strong side and dominating the game.


The second round will be played in the week beginning 27th August.


Fellow Welsh Clubs Swansea and Wrexham were both awarded ties against Premiership teams facing Reading and Aston Villa respectively.
