Vital Cardiff City Got It Wrong !

Vital Cardiff City invited readers to vote which Bluebird was Man of the Match during the recent 1-0 home defeat by Stoke City.

The results were as follows:

Ledley 28%
Loovens 9%
Sinclair 51%
McPhail 12%

City new boy Trevor Sinclair topped the poll after scooping just over half the votes. Vital Cardiff City went for Joe Ledley as M.O.M is our player ratings here, and it was the young Welshman who led the early voting.

However a late surge for Sinclair saw him win what had become a two horse race with other contenders Loovens and McPhail lagging far behind. Not a single vote went for another of the XI.

Sinclair was the official M.O.M and this has now been backed-up by a fan vote, forcing us to conclude that we maybe should have gone with Trev, although in fairness, we did give them both the same mark - and the vote was pretty close !!!

Sinclair looks set to be a popular addition to the side. He has started well and his every touch was roundly cheered on his competitive home debut.
