Cardiff City Back On Form

Cardiff City saw off Port Talbot in a pre-season friendly last night scoring 3 goals in an effective perfromance.

Teenage midfielder Aaron Ramsey finished off a flowing team move for his first goal for the promising youngster.

Jason Byrne scored his first City goal since his debut by curling in a free-kick form the edge of the area.

And Matt Green scored a second half header, rising to meet a Parry cross from the right.

Another plus point was the captain Darren Purse, who came through the 90 minutes unscathed having missed some of the pre-season with injury.

Cardiff play one more pre-season game, at home to FC Twente where Robbie Fowler will make his long-awaited debut.
