Cardiff Fans Optimistic For Season

A recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City website invited reader's predictions as to where the Bluebirds will finish this current season.

General feeling seems to be that the squad has a stronger feel to it - discussed here on the Vital Cardiff Forum. However, the Championship again looks a strong league to play in.

The results were:

Automatic Promotion. 19%
Play-Offs. 36%
Upper Mid-Table. 27%
Lower Mid-Table. 3%
Relegation. 9%
No Way To Tell. 6%

The results were generally optimistic with most fans feeling that, come the end of the season, Cardiff City will stand a chance of promotion to the Premiership. We gave it a go last year, but at this stage - few would have predicted our great start.

That form must be continued if we are to get up and I believe we have a better equipped squad to do it.

VITALWATFORD says : Thought you were well and truly up last season after such a fast start so it will be interesting to see how the season kicks off - Fowler will be important as the cutting edge up front needs to fire from the off now Chopra has moved on. Losing Alexander to Ipswich is in my book a bit of a blow as well...

Alexander was by no means a star, just wished he'd been properly replaced :(
