Fowler Agrees To Join Cardiff

BBC Sport is reporting that Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has agreed to sign for Cardiff City on a 2 year deal.

The move ends weeks of speculation regarding the future of an experienced striker with a good track record. He is expected to complete a medical and sign the contract early next week.

Fowler was know to have many offers on the table but has opted to move himself and his family to South Wales to embark on a new challenge with Cardiff City.

Fowler will in some ways be a goalscoring replacement for the departed Michale Chopra , although doubts remain over Fowler's match fitness and injury proneness.

More to follow on Monday.
