City Fans Lose Patience With 'God'

The great Cardiff City-Robbie Fowler sage has been rumbling on for some time now and not everyone is convinced the move is in the clubs best interests.

Fowler certainly has pedigree and the intelligence to operate at this level. He is getting on and has never seemed the fittest striker anyway and is missing a rigourous pre-season training regime the longer he stalls.

We have waited patiently, and know plenty of other parties to be interested. However, the longer we wait - our plans are put on hold and we are delaying bringing in other players. It isnt ideal to have players join immediately before the season and if Fowler moves elsewhere we will have diminished options and little time available.

A recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City site invited readers to voice their opinions on how long we should wait to hear Fowler's decision:

37% were in favour of demanding an answer now and giving the Liverpool man an ultimatum, whereas 16% were prepared to grant him another week to decide.

26% had lost patience already and wanted to move on to otehr targets while 14% were not worried about the delay and happy to wait as long as it took for a quality player.

A new poll is now open discussing the decision to allow hotshot Michael Chopra to leave for Sunderland in a £5m deal. What some see as good business, others are disappointed by a lack of ambition. What are your thoughts?

How many other clubs are in the running to sign Fowler, there must be a few.

leicester city, rangers and Sydney FC are amongst the favourites. Rumours abound that we are in pole position at the moment

forget him, he's past his best. look elsewhere. find someone who wants to sign for you 100%, and not just because there are no other offers on the table.
Dales_Dad
problem is there isnt anyone. Who can honestly say they wouldnt take the best job offer they got?
