Cardiff's Jones Link To Sociedad!

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is a surprise candidate to take over the managerial position at Real Sociedad. Angel Lotina resigned following the club`s relegation and Jones is apparently on a shortlist of potential replacements

It was thought the La Liga club were pushing to bring back current Wales boss John Toshack to the club, but the former Cardiff City forward rejected the interest in favour of staying on as Wales manager.

Instead Toshack advised the Spanish club to speak with currently un-employed Welsh manager Chris Coleman - who has been out of work since leaving Fulham after a disappointing last season.

However, Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is also reportedly a target although the club refused to confirm or deny this saying:

'We cannot comment on who will be the team's next manager or sporting director until after Saturday's administration council meeting,'

It is a flattering link for Jones whose good work on a tight budget has not gone un-noticed. However, with a settled family and exciting new future at Ninian Park, any move seems a long way off for DJ at present.
