Cardiff City Complete Double Swoop
Cardiff City have completed the signing of midfielder Gavin Rae and striker Steven MacLean to bring their signings count up to three.
Peter Ridsdale had denied a link to Gavin Rae, out of contract having been released by Rangers. The 29 year old is the tenascious ball-winner the Bluebirds have been after and adds experience and qwuality to the ranks.
Steven MacLean is a 24 year old striker, out of contract with fellow Championship club Sheffield Wednesday. He was a prolific scorer for the Owls until a bad leg injury hampered his progress.
Both players add something to the squad but are both known as injury-prone players.
