Vital Cardiff City wants your opinion!!!
This season's captain Darren Purse was kept out of the side for lengthy periods with injuries and suspension. This allowed the other two centre-backs Roger Johnson and Glenn Loovens to impress and Purse is not certain of a starting berth next season when fit.
A poll is open for you to vote for your choice of Skipper.
Darren Purse
The obvious choice and most experienced player. He has good organisation and determination making him an accomplished leader. However, he may start the season as third choice centre half.
Roger Johnson
Voted Player of the Season and has good leadership qualities. Vocal in defence and looking a good player. Captained Wycombe from an early age and his calm but solid performances demand respect.
Riccy Scimeca
Another 'old head', Scimeca is our midfield general and deputised for much of last season. Vastly experienced and a strong character, Scimeca could be a popular choice.
Michael Chopra
A bubbly character, and undoubtedly a star of the team. His work rate defines him as an example to the team and he's never afraid to give his views to the team. Never gives up and would relish the chance to get more from his colleagues.
Stephen McPhail
A suprise choice as stand-in captain last season, McPhail is quieter than a normal captain but can still dictate the play on his day. Is more experienced than most in the side and always at the centre of Cardiff's play.
