Cardiff Fans Split On Killen Snub

Cardiff Fans Split On Killen Snub

A recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City site invited readers to voice their opinions on Chris Killen. The former Hibernian striker was on the verge of joining The Bluebirds only to perform a last minute U-turn and join the SPL champions Celtic.

Killen's decision angered Peter Ridsdale and Dave Jones but fans have been more split in their feeling. One thing evident from the results are that feeling are strong on the matter with the more extreme options being favoured by most fans!

A majority 38% were angry, while 30% were overjoyed that Killen, who is extremely injury-prone, would not be joining.

Of the remaining options, 20% confessed themselves disappointed and 8% were not particularly bothered.

Killen is now a Celtic player and there is little point looking at the past, he made the decision that most people probably would have so we now need to look for another affordable but quality striker who can score the goals we need.
