Cardiff's Flood set for Loan Exit?

Cardiff's Flood set for Loan Exit?

Cardiff City's former Manchester City midfielder Willo Flood could be set for a dramatic loan exit in the near future.

Things have not gone to plan for the Irishman since a move to South Wales. Flood moved in order to secure regular first team football but has been unable to foce his way into the Cardiff City side, making just 5 starts despite numerous substitutes appearances.

Now, Flood is being tipped for an unusual loan move to the Irish league system meaning that he would not get an end-of-season break like the other Bluebirds players.

St Patrick's Athletic, impressing in the Eircom league so far this season, are the side being linked with the coup and would like to have Flood until their season ends in November.

Dave Jones may prefer a permanent move for the player, or to keep him fresh and in the pre-season team building ready for the new English season in August.
