Ipswich Boss Warns Cardiff City

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has warned Cardiff City that his Ipswich side will be up for the game, despite neither side having anything, bar pride, to play for.

With Cardiff City expected to name several youngsters in the squad, it promises to be a tough afternoon for the Bluebirds, who are desperately short of form and confidence.

Magilton spoke of his gratitude to the ITFC supporters and vowed to end the season in style:

'I want to send our supporters away happy so that they can spend an optimistic summer and look forward to better things next season.

'Sunday's game gives us a chance to say thank you with a memorable performance and it is important that we do.'

With Cardiff having capitulated, and barely looking like scoring, it could be a relatively easy afternoon for Ipswich and they can look forward to three points and a relaxing summer break.

Cardiff fans however will be desperate to see some effort and determination and not end the season on such a bitter, low note. It would be far more welcome to pick up a win to carry into pre-season training and tour.

1 point from 24 is surely unthinkable.....?
