Ipswich have been mid-table pretty much all season, is that seen as an acceptable result for this year?
After the amount of players and change of management experienced in Ipswich, Mid-table was a position always on the cards for Town and it doesn't surprise me that it has ended up that way. There were no real expectations at the beginning of the season except that we build a team capable of doing so next season.
How do you see your season going for next year, is a play-off place a realistic ambition?
Play offs are very much a realistic hope for next season with a number of quality additions having been made to our squad such as Legwinski, Roberts, Harding etc. with Francis Jeffers maybe signing permanently for Town. Magilton is a driven and ambitious manager who possesses the required hunger for achieving promotion.
Alan Lee seems to be scoring goals for fun, but couldn`t hit the proverbial cows rear with a banjo for us. What are your thoughts on the player?
Alan Lee is an excellent player and wont give up for the team's cause. He can on occasions be a bit stroppy and can hit the deck a bit easy which is strange for such a big man. I understand he didnt fire on all cylinders at cardiff but is now definately a 20 goal a season player. He is definately a predator and can certainly head the ball well. Lacks a bit of pace but makes up for it with good feet.
If you could have one Cardiff City player to join you - who would you chose and why?
The one Cardiff City player I would choose would have to be your frontman Michael Chopra as we could certainly do with the goals that he brings. He seems to be a good all round player and I would certainly like Town to sign him.
Ipswich Town player to watch?
Watch out for Francis Jeffers. He is a true predator and is never gives up on the ball. He works like a dog and has bags of quality. No-one can be bought by Arsenal for £10 million if they didnt have real ability and quality. He can score goals from anywhere and is in my opinion, too good for the championship. Hope we can sign him permanently.
Prediction for the game?
I expect a draw as Town are in solid form recently getting draws at Leeds and Norwich away. However if it were to go one way i would probably say Cardiff might edge it.
