Cardiff fans opt for Feeney/Thommo

Cardiff fans opt for Feeney/Thommo

A recent poll on this Cardiff City website invited readers to vote on their preferred strike partnership for this weekend's match against Sunderland.

Top scorer Michael Chopra, has made a dramatic recovery after straining his hamstring but is still in contention for a starting place. If he does not recover, Cardiff City fans want to see the new signing selected upfront in his place.

A majority 65% voted for the Thompson & Feeney parnership while 9% wanted Thommo & Byrne, Thommo & AN Other or Byrne & AN Other.

The AN Other could refer to any one of Cardiff's multitude of strikers, but most likely is the lively looking new recruit Matt Green, recently arrived from Newport County.
