Is Feeney the right man for Cardiff?

Cardiff City new boy Warren Feeney has big shoes to fill in Michael Chopra's absence and there will be no 'honeymoon period' for the Northern Irish striker.

A poll is currently open HERE where you can vote as to the signing.

For a player with just 2 league goals all season, to come in and fire the goals to take Cardiff to the play-offs is a big ask. The Luton Town fans were on his back, and although that pressure has lifted - he must show the Cardiff City fans attacking instinct and will want 3 goals before the season ends.

Dave Jones has a good record in signing players, and getting the best from them. He has been chasing Feeney for weeks, and must have seen something to impress him sufficiently:

'I'm pleased we've finally got Warren at last - we've been trying to sign him for the last five or six weeks,'

'Luton weren't prepared to let him go at all, but we kept chipping away and he made it clear he wanted to join us. We waited and waited and finally Luton agreed to let him go.'

The signing already has some Bluebirds fans muttering and many are not convinced by the signing. Feeney has shown he can score goals and must be given a chance.
