Cardiff re-kindle Killen interest
Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has been re-linked with a summer swoop for New Zealand international Chris Killen.
The striker, currently at Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League, has been a long term target of Cardiff City and the Bluebirds were all set for a move in the recent January transfer window.
Unfortunately Killen suffered a bad injury which scuppered any move and led Jones to pursue Jason Byrne of Shelbourne.
Killen started out at Manchester City before loan spells at Wrexham and Port Vale before moving to Oldham far £250k. He then moved North to Hibs and has impressed in the absence of former player Derek Riordan after his move to Celtic.
He so far has 8 goals in his 20 caps for New Zealand.
