A recent poll on the Vital Cardiff frontpage has revealed the opinions of Cardiff City supporters on the final Championship position this season.
The poll invited Vital Cardiff readers to vote for the position they thought the Bluebirds would achieve:
Morale appears high amongst City followers although the most recent game, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Birmingham City, dented the hopes slightly.
The majority of fans felt that a play off place was the most likely destination polling 47% of the vote. Contrary to normal Cardiff City fashion 25% were optimistic and believe that the top two automatic promotion spots are a realistic finishing position.
16% believed that we would just fail to make the play-offs while the remaining 12% of voters think that City's promotion bid will tail off into mid-table mediocrity after a dissappointing run-in.
Opinions clearly divided then as City head into a crucial period where they play Southampton, Derby and Sunderland consecutively. All three teams currently ahead of Cardiff but certainly in reach.
Vital Cardiff welcomes your input! Feel free to suggest an article or a poll and good submissions will be published (as long as they are not offensive or libellous!)
