Cardiff reserves draw with the Jacks

Cardiff City reserves played out a 2-2 draw in a tight contest yesterday afternoon.

Promising young strikers Matt Green, recently signed from Newport County, and Jamal Easter, recently returned from loan at Torquay, scored the goals for Cardiff.

Both players are well down the pecking order for strikers at Ninian Park, as well as Andrea Feretti who also played in the game.

Of particular note, was the return to match fitness of Club Captain Darren Purse after 6 weeks out with a back injury. Purse came through an hour unscathed and will be part of the Cardiff squad to face Norwich City this weekend.
