Cardiff City land award
Cardiff City`s Media & Communications Manager, Julian Jenkins says of receiving the club`s Best use of New Media Award at the 2007 Football League Awards.
'It's fantastic to receive this award, but it's not just me there is a whole media team who have worked so hard for Cardiff over the last 18-months. We opened a campaign for the last five home games of last season and wanted to get families involved so we let kids come in free to Ninian Park with paying adults. We also used SMS marketing and used quotes from the players and the manager to convince the public to come and support the team. We also used e-newsletters to drum-up support.'
