Cardiff City travel to the Ricoh Arena, Coventry to face the Sky Blues in an important Championship clash this weekend.
Coventry City can be disappointed with their team's performances this season after high expectations surrounded the club pre-season. Ex-manager Micky Adams was dismissed after Coventry remained in the bottom half and ex-Everton player Adrian Heath is caretaker boss with the Sky Blues.
Just one win in eleven sees Coventry in poor form running into the match, and have sold the likes of Stern John and Gary McSheffrey already this season. However, Coventry still possess good players with Leon McKenzie, Dele Adebola and new recruit Michael Mifsud all capable of getting goals.
Cardiff City have enjoyed a recent turn in fortunes winning their last 3 games on the bounce. Despite a recent run of terrible form, the arrival of the transfer window has breathed new impetus into the Cardiff line-up and results improved dramatically.
Bluebirds' striker Michael Chopra is in fantastic form with 5 goals in 3 games as well as 2 assists in that period. A confidence player, Chopra looks back to his best and will look to cause problems for a leaky Coventry defence which has conceded 13 goals in the previous 6 games.
Both sides need a win, but for differing reasons. Coventry are actively searching a new boss, while the players are firmly behing Heath, the board are considering Paul Ince as a possible candidate.
Cardiff are on form but VitalCardiff predicts a score draw, 1-1.
