Sky Bet PotM August Winner - Mendez-Laing (Cardiff)

The Sky Bet Player of the Month winners for August 2017 are:

Sky Bet Championship - Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Cardiff City)

Cardiff winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has been named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for August.

Mendez-Laing Began this campaign with the same exciting brand of attacking flair with which he finished last season, albeit at a new club and a division higher. His four goals from four starts included a stunning finish in the win over Sheffield United.

Sky Bet League One - Jack Marriot (Peterborough United)

Peterborough United striker Jack Marriot has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for August.

What a way to announce your arrival at a new club. Six goals in his first four games for Posh included a hat-trick at Bristol Rovers and an impudent lob against Rotherham that sums up both his trickery and his calm finishing.

Sky Bet League Two - Frank Nouble (Newport County)

Newport County striker Frank Nouble has been named the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month for August.

The numbers speak for themselves from the most prolific month of the 25-year-old`s career to date. Five goals and an assist in four games included a 13-minute hat-trick against Chesterfield, which featured an unstoppable 25-yarder into the top corner.

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports' EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, League Managers' Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Mikey Mumford.
